Trump’s allies immediately plunged into Biden’s controversial words. South Carolina’s Senator Tim Scott, a supporter of the President and the only black Republican in the House of Representatives, criticized the “condescension and arrogance” in his statements “shocking and surprising” him.

He couldn’t believe that Biden would sink so low as to tell people “what to do, how to think and what it means to be black.”
