LAMBAYEQUE, KOMPAS.com – Dozens of people taking part in the funeral in Peru Surprised after a woman who was about to be buried allegedly banged on the coffin from the inside.

Late last month, Rosa Isabel Cespedes Callacaa 36-year-old woman from Lambayeque, Peru, with her brother-in-law, and three nieces were involved in car accident seriously.

The accident claimed the lives of both adults and left a boy with serious injuries.

On April 26, Rosa’s relatives gathered in Lambayeque to lay her body down to rest.

Reported from Oddity Central, the funeral procession initially went according to plan, according to eyewitnesses.

However, after that, on one occasion people began to hear a faint crashing sound from inside the woman’s coffin.

When the lid of the casket was opened, the people who came to the funeral were surprised to see Rosa staring back at them.

“He opened his eyes and was sweating,” said funeral keeper Juan Segundo Cajo.

“I immediately went to my office and called the police,” he explained.

Still in complete disbelief, the woman’s family retrieved the coffin and took it to the Ferrenafe Reference Hospital in Lambayeque, with Rosa still inside.

Doctors there confirmed the woman’s vital signs, even though she had been declared dead days earlier, and gave her life support.

Unfortunately, Rosa died just hours after being taken to the hospital, this time for real.

However, no one could ignore the fact that he had come back to life only moments before being demoted to his final resting place.

Her family is also looking for answers regarding Rosa’s “resurrection”.

“We want to know why my niece reacted yesterday when we took her for burial,” said aunt Rosa.

“We have videos where he pushes and touches the coffin,” he explained.

Police have opened an investigation into the matter after the strange case went viral, but have not reported any findings.

The woman’s family believes Rosa fell into a coma after the car accident.

After Rosa’s incident “came back to life”, her family wondered how the doctors had managed to lose her vital signs in the first place.
