Italy’s ambassador to Australia, 57-year-old Francesca Tardioli, died while on holiday at home. The diplomat died after falling from a balcony. About this on February 20, Sunday, writes Courier of Umbria.
It is specified that the incident occurred the day before, on Saturday, February 19, when the diplomat was resting in Foligno, her hometown.
According to the publication, Tardioli dangled from the fourth floor through the terrace and lost her balance.

The Embassy in Canberra expressed condolences on the untimely death of “a refined man, professional diplomat and human rights defender.”
