Iserlohn Roosters start with the Krefeld Penguins

Iserlohn.
The 2020/2021 DEL season begins for the Sauerland region on December 23.

The Iserlohn Roosters have no play at the start of what is in many ways the most extraordinary DEL season of all time. That comes from the game plan that the league published yesterday. Only on Wednesday, December 23rd, at 8.30 p.m., do they intervene with an away game in Krefeld. For the first home game, the Roosters will welcome the Grizzlys Wolfsburg am Seilersee on December 27th at 5 p.m.

The season will open on Thursday, December 17th at 7.30 p.m. in their own hall with a derby against the Düsseldorfer EG. An overview of the other games on the first day of the match: Berlin – Bremerhaven (Fri., 7.30 p.m.)

Mannheim – Nuremberg (Sat, 2.30 p.m.)

Munich – Augsburg (Sun, 2.30 p.m.)

Ingolstadt – Schwenningen (Sun., 5 pm)

Wolfsburg – Krefeld (Sun, 7.30 p.m.)

After the group stage, there are a total of 14 games against the clubs from the southern season. These will be scheduled by the league at a later date. The last game day is planned for April 18th, two days later the play-off quarter-finals will begin in the “best of three” mode. Here the four best in each group determine the semi-final participants. In this round, the winners from the north and south with the best points meet the team of the other group with the fewest main round counters. The play-offs last a maximum of 18 days. And those are all the appointments of Jason O’Leary’s team from the first to the last regional day of the Northern Season.
