However, it is undeniable that there are still many people who choose not to eat in restaurants in this era new normal.
There are some things that are feared when eating in public, such as corona virus which is transmitted from food or utensils together.
Professor and Chief of Infectious Disease at the Department of Medicine of University, Buffalo, The State University of New York, Thomas A. Russo, said the risk of contracting the corona virus from food is very low.
Quoted from CNN International, Russo said corona virus is a virus that attacks the upper or lower respiratory tract through droplets or aerosols that enter the mouth, nose or eyes.
The virus must enter the respiratory tract to cause infection and cannot enter the stomach or intestinal tract.
Corona virus also very unstable in the environment like inanimate objects.

Russo said, from the research it was known that corona virus lost half its viral concentration in less than one hour on copper.
The coronavirus also lost half its viral concentration after three and a half hours on cardboard and just under seven hours on plastic.
If food is contaminated corona virus during preparation, the cooking temperature will likely inactivate many, though not all, of viruses.
