Intervention at the Montluçon remand center after two detainees refused to return to their cells

Two detainees from the Montluçon jail refused to reintegrate their cells on Wednesday, April 29, around 5:15 p.m., following the walk. The two men, aged twenty to thirty, incarcerated pending trial, did not, however, “No aggressive behavior towards staff”, specifies the director of the establishment, Pascal Vion.

Reinforcements from Moulins-Yzeure

One of the two detainees wished through this action get a transfer in another place of detention, and the second probably followed in solidarity. Supervisors of the Moulins-Yzeure penitentiary center were called in as reinforcements, in order to end the incident.

They intervened around 9 p.m. this Wednesday, in the courtyard, with suitable equipment. And “by order”, the two men were transferred in other establishments where they will be subject to disciplinary proceedings.
