Internal security – Bremen – Bremen Senator for the Interior informs about clan crime – politics

Bremen (dpa / lni) – After a large-scale operation in the drug milieu, Bremen’s Senator for the Interior Ulrich Mäurer (SPD), Police Vice President Dirk Fasse and State Criminal Police Office chief Jürgen Osmers want to report on the action on Friday. During the raid on Thursday, the police searched numerous apartments and business premises in Bremen and the surrounding area and arrested four men.

The investigation was directed against twelve suspects, including two police officers. They are accused of drug trafficking, bribery and money laundering, among other things. Investigators also found firearms with ammunition, cash and cell phones during the raid. Mäurer wanted to give insights into the measures to combat criminal members of ethnically isolated subcultures (large families), it said.
