When will unemployment benefits from the American Rescue Plan be available in Arizona?
On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) was enacted, including extensions to federal unemployment programs. Under federal law, individuals who have exhausted benefits will not be eligible for benefit weeks prior to the benefit week ending March 20, 2021. Applicants can apply for ARPA benefits beginning March 21, 2021. 2021 and benefits will be paid from March 22, 2021.
