On April 1, 2024, at exactly 0:00, a bomb exploded again, Azahriah dropped her new music video and single on the people. THE cipoe named, frighteningly current work was uploaded to music and video sharing sites on Easter Monday – and April Fool’s Day.
It is slowly set in stone that if we expect a Hungarian portrait (pain?) from Azahriah, we can hope for the release on significant days: last May 1, on Labor Day, the Memento LP, including one that dissects very current topics Four Moods 2and now here is the cipoewhich outlines the Hungarian reality just as much, if not better, especially in a period when the country and, of course, public life were perhaps even more disturbed than usual.
He already surprised his fans with his latest music video, but the commentators once again received the work in disbelief.
“I thought a mariana. moatthan that this will be a more chill album, that’s what this comes down to, and my opinion has completely changed. You’ve brought up something that many of us wouldn’t have expected,” one commenter wrote.
Covers openly
Rap has always proven to be a perfect tool for outspoken, critical thinking, the performers formulated personal (or rather social and systemic) problems in a digestible and enjoyable form. And the advantage of the music is a great treasure, especially if the performer is Azahriah, whose voice – at the same time, his message – reaches even the most secluded corners of the country.
Azahriah, who in recent months has also opened up a bit to public life and has spoken about hot topics either on social media or live, has not hidden her opinion. THE cipoe it is full of allusions, overt and covert hints. The Hungarian reality is striking again.
It’s also good that music and video go hand in hand, as the meaning and layers of the visual elements really make the point. It is almost impossible to understand half of the song, which is as different as possible from the artist’s style, with a slightly more old-school, more hip-hop sound – at least the commentators emphasize this – but just watch the video and the message screams into our ears even louder than the music.
In the first half of the clip, which is divided into two parts, it is as if a party meeting comes to life in front of us, in the background a figure with a bus head is executed by the riot police. In the hall, between the members, a pig marches along a red carpet, above it Azahriah appears on the posters as the Statue of Liberty, instead of a palm branch, he raises a guitar, he fights for the people with music, we could interpret…
Azahriah starts playing the piano in the dark, then suddenly we fall into a rural atmosphere.

Food, booze, drunkenness, sobering up, pig slaughtering, generations having fun together, complaining of grief to the psychologist, who listens coldly to the lines before the two riot police officers and the decapitated furry creature pounce on the family portrait.

There is an English text for the scenes in New Palace wrapped in black and white, at least for a while.
No one is safe
The scenes show that in this reality, difficulties are everyday, but rays of hope also appear in the gray world.
During this part of the video, several people complained that they did not understand the text. However, Azahriah – as if she had predicted the comments in advance – already stepped into the field of action when making the clip. It is interesting that four lines of the Hungarian text were written out with subtitles:

Everyone can decide for themselves why exactly these sentences are displayed on the screen. The title is also thought-provoking, several commenters ask whether it means shoe or shoe. None:

Reading the comments on the loaf, you can immediately think of the bread and circusessince our reality is a big circus, and bread is an ever-increasing luxury, but in the spirit of poetic freedom, we will entrust the eventual singing of this to Azahriah later on.
Update: The clip is no longer available on YouTube at 1:52 p.m. on April 1. The video had 120,000 views in a few hours. Azahriah also explained the reason for taking down the video in her Instagram story, which is available for 24 hours.
