In Minneapolis, USA, protests have erupted for the fourth day in a row following the recent murder of a 32-year-old African American by law enforcement officials. Reported by RIA-News citing CBS Minnesota.
According to police, law enforcement officers received a warrant for the detention of Smith in connection with charges of illegal possession of weapons. While trying to detain a suspect, Smith opened fire on police officers from a parked car, but was shot and died on the spot.
It is noted that on Sunday more than a hundred people took to the streets with demands for a fair investigation into the Smith case.
Recall that since May 2020, a wave of protests and riots against police violence and racism has swept across many major cities in the United States, and then in a number of other countries.
