US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken agreed to a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. It is scheduled for February 23rd. On Friday, February 18, it was said on briefing White House Spokesperson Jen Psaki.
“He accepted the invitation and will meet with his Russian partner on Wednesday, unless, of course, they launch an invasion,” she said.
The American side is considering Geneva as the meeting place.
