In the urban-type settlement Mendeleevo in the Moscow region, a 14-year-old schoolgirl threw her younger sister out of the window of an apartment when a fire started, and thereby saved both her and herself from death. The recording of what happened on Tuesday, November 24, publishes Telegram-channel “MK: breaking news”.
According to him, the fire took place in an apartment on the third floor of a residential building located on Institutskaya Street on Monday, November 23rd. According to the preliminary version, the cause of the fire was the electrical wiring.
At that moment, both girls were alone in the apartment. Black smoke began to accumulate in the house, an open flame was visible. The children were unable to exit through the door and remained locked in the room.
The teenager decided to get out through the window. She helped her three-year-old sister move to the neighbors on the lower floor, and then jumped off herself. She was caught by local residents who were at that time under the windows.
As a result, the girls were saved. The youngest child was hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning. The apartment was completely burnt out.
