Refusal to ban pictures
The Taliban seized power in Afghanistan in August 2021. Since then, they have adopted a series of measures that severely restrict the freedom of women and girls. One of these measures is the ban on women practicing sports. But many women did not accept this. The Associated Press filmed some of them with their gym equipment, without revealing their identities.
