Marquez honestly was very reluctant to leave the race, but for the sake of recovery he prefers to step aside from the track.
“This is not our best moment because we like to be on the track because it is like being at home,” said Marquez as quoted by BolaSport.com from Motosan.es.
“This is my 8th year in MotoGP and I never miss a race. It’s a matter of patience with regards to maintaining body condition.”
“Losing this season is better for recovering,” said Marquez.

The racer nicknamed The Baby Alien has also listened to the advice of a team of doctors, such as when he tried to return to the Jerez Circuit in the second series of the 2020 Andalusian MotoGP.
