Here he established himself extremely reliably. He simply became a literary icon. Novels Joke, Immortality a The Unbearable Lightness of Being were translated into all world languages. His work has become a classic on a planetary scale. But when he was in France, he did not want his works to be translated into Czech. That’s why it was done without permission. The first official translations into the native language came only in 2020 with the court translator Anna Karenina.
