A retiree and his wife living in Val-de-Marne were still in custody this Saturday. He is accused of killing his father and hiding him in a freezer for 13 years in order to receive his retirement pension, reports The Parisian.
It all started last weekend, when the retiree’s mistress reported abuse to the couple’s 13-year-old daughter to the police. These facts have not yet been confirmed by the investigation but it is through this that the Créteil prosecutor’s office is interested in the couple.
Tuesday, the mistress is then interrogated and declares that her lover killed her father 13 years ago during an argument, before hiding him in a freezer then receiving his retirement pension of 3,500 euros per month. He would have confided in her at the beginning of October.
The couple were taken into custody and the body of the father, who should have been 97 years old today, was indeed found in a freezer in a box in Villeneuve-le-Roi (Val-de-Marne) .
