Ibrahimovic would not like to extend with AC Milan

After an experience in MLS, the former Parisian – Zlatan Ibrahimović (2012-2016) – made his return to Europe, in the winter transfer window, by signing for AC Milan. The former Swedish international notably allowed the Lombard club to revive in Serie A (4 goals and 1 assist) in order to aim for a qualification in the Europa League. But according to information from the Gazzetta dello Sport, the 38-year-old should not continue the adventure with Rossoneri. The Italian daily claims that the former Parisian – linked to AC Milan until next June – would not extend his contract with the Milan club.

The second top scorer in PSG history (156 goals in 180 games) would not have appreciated the different changes within the club management with the shelving of Zvonimir Boban (director in charge of sports management) and the probable departure Paolo Maldini (technical director). Two men who were instrumental in the arrival of the Swede in Milan. La Gazzetta explains in particular that Ibrahimovic will soon have a discussion with the managing director of the club – Ivan Gazidis – to let him know his choice not to extend with the lombard club. Thus, the native of Malmö could opt for a new challenge or put an end to his rich career at the age of 38.
