HyperX Introduces Two New Headphones In Cloud Stinger Series – Gaming – News

HyperX has announced two new headphones in the Cloud Stinger range. It concerns the Core + 7.1 and the Core Wireless + 7.1. Both are game headsets that can virtually offer a 7.1 sound.

Both headphones have according to the press release 40mm drivers that can handle a frequency range from 20Hz to 20kHz. The wired headphones weigh 240 grams, the wireless version is 4 grams heavier. The Cloud Stinger Core headphones have a microphone with a frequency range of 50Hz to 18kHz. The user can mute the microphone by turning it away from the mouth. The volume is controlled via buttons on the closed ear cups. According to HyperX, users on the PC can listen to 7.1 sound via the Ngenuity software.

The wired headphones come with a 2.5-meter cable that connects to a device through a 3.5mm jack. As far as is known, this cable is not detachable. The headphones receive a USB adapter to be able to use the headphones on devices without a 3.5mm connection.

The wireless variant is linked to a device via a 2.4GHz connection, for this HyperX supplies a USB receiver. HyperX writes that the wireless Cloud Stinger Core has a range of 20 meters and a maximum battery life of 17 hours. A 0.5m USB cable is included for charging.

The HyperX Cloud Stinger Core + 7.1 and Core Wireless + 7.1 are now available.
