Huawei Smart Glasses, connected glasses launched with HarmonyOS

As announced, the new Huawei Smart Glasses, the first to be equipped with HarmonyOS, were presented and launched in China. These are equipped with high-definition stereo speakers of great amplitude from 128 mm² which surround the ears. They also feature a reverse sound-field acoustic system to reduce sound leakage, a dual-microphone windproof design, and a clearer external sound pickup.

The glasses support simultaneous connection of two devices, one-touch switching of multiple devices, and smart connection displayed. In terms of control, they support a series of gestures for performing certain functions, such as:

– Double tap to play and pause audio
– Scroll to change the sound
– Press and hold to reject a call

In addition, they support the health functions of the spine, which helps to pay attention to posture, resulting from the collaboration with the rehabilitation medicine department of the first affiliated hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. The battery can last up to 16 hours of full use when fully charged. A magnetic mechanism is used for charging and with fast charging in just 10 minutes, you can enjoy at least 80 minutes of music playing. Huawei smart glasses have IPX4 certification for waterproofing, which makes them usable even in the rain.

Currently only available in China, at a different price from the model, as some are equipped with corrective lenses and others for sunglasses:

– Huawei smart glasses with sun lenses – 1,899 yuan (around € 265)
