HSV: After the planned opening for fans! Is Hamburg getting pressure from the government? – 2nd Bundesliga

Politicians went on the offensive at the weekend. The Hamburg professional clubs – HSV, St. Pauli, handball players (HSV Hamburg), basketball players (Towers) and ice hockey crocodiles – received mail from the Senate.

Content: Suggestions and suggestions on how to play with spectators again. The clubs had previously complained massively about the uneven treatment between sport and culture. While no fans are allowed in professional sport, 2000 visitors are allowed into the Elbphilharmonie.

The post from the town hall followed yesterday, however, only little concrete. The second division soccer teams HSV and St. Pauli in particular are very upset and are urging discussions with Mayor Peter Tschentscher (55) and Interior and Sports Senator Andy Grote (53) as soon as possible.

They ask for audience approval and a clear line. They don’t feel like constantly changing specifications anymore.

FC St. Pauli in particular needs planning security. Two home games will take place at Millerntor in the coming days. In the 2nd league against Aue (15.1.) And in the DFB-Pokal against Dortmund (18.1.).

There are still a week and a half until the first game in the Volkspark: Then Pauli comes to the city cracker (January 21).

It is questionable what freedom the Senate has when it comes to the fan decision. Apparently there is pressure from the government in Berlin to completely reduce the number of spectators in professional sport in all federal states.

It’s exciting to see how you position yourself in relation to the culture …
