Basically there are 4 ways to reset Instagram password. This method can be done by using your Instagram username. The process is very similar to how you reset your Facebook password. Here are 4 ways to reset your Instagram password.
1. Via username

If you forget your Instagram password but remember your Instagram username, then you can reset your Instagram password easily.
1. Tap the Instagram app icon on your phone.
2. In the login section, you can find the Get help to Login option, then Click.
3. Then you get the option to enter a username.
4. Now you will be asked to select the Send email or log in to Facebook option.
5. Click the send email option where you get a login link to reset the password in the email registered on your Instagram.
6. Open the email you received from Instagram.
7. Click the reset link and tap the reset your Instagram Password option.
8. Now enter the new password and verify it by typing it once again the new password and then reset it.
Now you can log in to Instagram with the password you just created.
2. Using Facebook

Another way you can reset your password is to use Facebook. Here’s how.
1. Open the Instagram application.
2. then go to the login page where you can find the Get help to log in option.
3. Click the Sign in with Facebook option (to complete this, you must have created a link between your Facebook account and your Instagram account).
4. Now you can proceed with resetting the password.
To use this option, you must link your Instagram account with your Facebook account.
