JAKARTA, iNews.id – There is a way of privacy Status WhatsApp from someone the user can do. Basically the method to be used is easy to implement.
WhatsApp has a status feature. Meta’s social networking platform also gives users complete control over privacy on Status, where WhatsApp users can make it more private.
Status updates can only be seen by someone if you have their phone number in the phone’s address book. Users can choose to share your Status updates with all your contacts or only selected contacts.
By default, your status updates are shared with all contacts. WhatsApp users can change it in several ways below as quoted from the WhatsApp faq page, Monday (11/15/2021).
1. Tap Status
– For those of you Android users, you can do this by Tap More Options > Status Privacy
– As for iPhone users, you can do this by tapping Privacy
2. Select one of the options below:
– My Contacts. This means that all contacts in your phonebook can see the status update
– My Contact Expect…. This means that all contacts except the person you selected will see the status update
– Only Share with. This means that only the contacts you select will see your status updates
