The director of combat stunts in The Witcher Vladimir Furdik showed how they worked out one of the most striking battles of the series – the duel of Geralt and the Harrow. And this video is fascinating, and the monster is really scary, although the sneakers on its legs add a little absurdity to what is happening.
Vladimir Furdik is a Slovak actor and stuntman who became widely known after playing the King of the Night in the Game of Thrones by HBO (in the sixth season he was replaced by the previous artist Richard Brack). In The Witcher, he returned to his main profession and was engaged in staging and choreography of battle scenes.
On Monday, October 30, Furdick showed his followers on Twitter how they prepared one of the show’s most memorable battles – the confrontation between Geralt and the harrow (damned princess). And the monster in her looks extremely convincing, even despite the lack of effects and sneakers on her legs.

In both versions, Geralt plays a stuntman, but Henry Cavill personally participated in all the battle scenes on the set. Furdik said that working with the actor was very easy, and the level of his physical fitness is simply fantastic.
