Final Fantasy VII remake: how many episodes are there?
The Japanese developers are very covered about the size of the remake. A guide to the game contains some interviews with the developers. There it is said that first of all a trilogy had run out. But this has taken a back seat – the rest of the whole Final Fantasy VII cosmos telling in just two more games would also be utopian. For comparison: you could leave Midgar in the original in just under 5 hours and only made up half of the first disc of the game. If the rest of the world were worked out the same way, it would definitely be more than about 80 more hours last.
