Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – North Korea (North Korea) has reportedly conducted another long-range missile test. according to Reuters, citing local media KCNA, this was done over the last weekend.
The missiles are said to have flown as far as 1,500 km before hitting their targets and falling in the territorial waters of Kim Jong Un’s country. To be precise, the missiles were fired on Saturday (11/9/2021) and Sunday (12/9/2021).
KCNA said the test highlighted “steady progress” in Pyongyang’s weapons programme. This was also done in the midst of celebrating the country’s 73rd birthday.
The media of the ruling Labor party, Rodong Sinmun, also includes a photo report of how the long-range cruise missile flew and fired. The missile is a strategic weapon that has been developed over the past two years in the country’s five-year development plan.
Unfortunately, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was not present at the test. Only the strong politburo member of the Labor Parati came, Pak Jong Chon.
It should be noted that this nuclear test was carried out just a day before negotiators from the United States (US), South Korea (South Korea) and Japan met to discuss the peace stalemate with North Korea.
