Amsterdam – The cabinet’s emergency package is enormous, but the concerns for employees and entrepreneurs are far from over. Unions are concerned about the position of flex workers who are in danger of falling between two stools. Businesses are stuck with fixed expenses, such as profit distributions and holiday pay. The suspension of the latter two is “on the table”, in the most extreme case to rescue companies that do not have enough aid from the cabinet, confirms the FNV union.
