HMD Global announces three new Nokia phones and a SIM card | NOW

HMD Global, the company that markets Nokia smartphones, has announced new Nokia smartphones. The top device is the Nokia 8.3 with four camera lenses and support for the faster 5G network.

The Nokia 8.3 has a 6.8-inch screen that fills almost the entire front of the device. Only at the bottom is a border and at the top left the camera is placed in a hole in the screen. The phone supports the most commonly used 5G frequency bands so that the device can use the faster network as soon as it is available.

Furthermore, the phone is equipped with four camera lenses, supplied by ZEISS. In addition to a standard lens, it is a wide-angle lens, a macro lens and a depth sensor.

The Nokia 8.3 runs on a Snapdragon 765G from Qualcomm and will be available “this summer” in two versions: one with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage (599 euros) and one with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage (699 euros) .

Nokia 5.3 does not support 5G

HMD Global also announced the Nokia 5.3. This device has a 6.55 inch screen with a teardrop notch for the camera in the middle. With this device, a battery life of two days is promised. The Nokia 5.3 also has four lenses.

This phone features a Snapdragon 655 processor and does not support 5G networks. The device costs 199 euros.

In addition to telephones, HMD Global also announces its own data SIM card. People can use the internet with this. Via an app, they can adapt a data plan to their needs. The SIM card works in more than 120 countries, including the Netherlands.
