The last days, Tencent Games presented several projects of various genres with the MOBA Pokémon UNITE and the action title scrolling horizontally Metal Slug Code: J, both developed by TiMi Studios. The Chinese giant made another big announcement over the weekend, this time about a technical demo of a future style game cyberpunk, named SYN.

Internally designed by studios Lightspeed and Quantum using theUnreal Engine, this demo is already marketed internationally by its presentation in English, and should give birth toa FPS in an open world for PCs and consoles. The graphics are meant to be realistic and “elegant”, with rather extensive freedom of avatar creation to believe the examples shown on one of the two pretty young women, who was not unlike Harley Quinn with one of the many haircuts chosen. Skin color, cosmetic options and skins, everything should pass there.
And as you can see, the greatest originality will undoubtedly come from the cybernetic animals accompanying the character, you can choose a kind of leopard or a bear, which therefore has implants and can also be personalized. In any case, the rendering is impressive, the whole objective of such a technical demo. Finally, a wide choice of vehicles will be offered, ranging from a simple futuristic taxi to more massive vehicles likeInterceptor PCR, all of which can again be modified in real time.
Obviously, it is probably not trivial that Tencent embarks on the creation of a game cyberpunk while the whole industry is watching Cyberpunk 2077, leaving at the end of the year and can be pre-ordered € 54.99 on Amazon, but it will probably take years to see this project come to fruition.
