Morning banana diet or diet Asa-Banana was first introduced by Sumiko Watanabe, a pharmacist from Japan. The banana diet is basically to encourage you to eat bananas in the morning, and reduce the portion you eat in the afternoon and evening.
Quoting from the video titled Tips for Doing the Right Banana DietOn Alodokter’s YouTube channel, Friday (9/9/2021), Doctor Fathir Miski explained that there are several things that must be considered, including:
1. Must have breakfast
Adopting a banana diet for breakfast can help you stay full and burn more calories. The trick is to only eat bananas (not cooked or processed) and water at breakfast. Doctor Fathir recommends having breakfast after 30-60 minutes after waking up. This is done so that fat burning can be maximized.
2. Stop Eating Before You Are Full
Actually there are no strict rules for lunch and dinner on this banana diet method. You can eat whatever food you want, but on the condition that you stop eating before you are full.
