Henryk Gołębiewski was out of work

He doesn’t make plans, he doesn’t have big dreams. Health and work are most important to him. And beloved daughter Róża. Henryk Gołębiewski celebrated his 64th birthday. “Now we have a coronavirus and we have to combine, because there is no work, everything stands or is just gaining momentum” – complains the actor.

How did you spend this day?

– It was modest, nice and pleasant. The family sang a hundred years, I got a gift from my daughter. But life goes on. I hope there are many more birthdays ahead of me.

Was this passing year successful for you?

– I consider every year successful. Because I survived cancer. And yet people die of this disease, even at a very young age. That is why every year I experience is happiness. I am an optimist, although sometimes they think that maybe there is metastasis somewhere. Back cancer comes (laughs). I was supposed to have check-ups now, but they were canceled by the coronavirus pandemic. But I am of good cheer.

Did you land in a wheelchair two years ago?

– I had a cracked heel, three pins sewn in to me. That’s why first I found a wheelchair, then I got crutches. I went to rehabilitation for two weeks and that’s enough.

And what was the coolest thing that happened to you in the passing year?

– Do I know … I really enjoy every day.

And the fact that your daughter Róża appeared with you in the series “Lombard. Life against the lien”?

– Yes, we were happy. However, the proposal came to her alone. Róża said that she would love to try, so we let her play. But if she said she didn’t want to, it would be good for me too. Nothing by force. A child cannot be forced to do what it does not want.
