The Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH)independent body attached to the Ministry of Health of Government of the Canary Islandsactivates an extraction campaign in Ingenio to facilitate blood donation to residents and visitors of this municipality of Gran Canaria.
The campaign, which runs until January 20, will be installed this week on Avenida Carlos V, next to the offices of the Carrizal Citizen Service. Tuesday and Wednesday the hours will be from 10:00 to 13:45 and from 17:00 to 20:45:00 to 20:40. Friday 13 the activity will end at 20:00.
From January 16 to 20, the extraction room will be installed at the headquarters of the Los Molinillos Neighborhood Association, located on Calle Doramas, s/n. The hours will be from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:45 and from 16:00 to 20:45. On Monday 16th the attention to donors will start at 9:45 and on Friday 20th it will finish at 20:00.

To donate blood you can go directly or request an appointment by calling 012 or 928 301 012 (option 8), Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 or by filling out the form published on the front page of the efectodonacion website. com. The ICHH also recalls that people vaccinated against covid-19, either with one or two doses and the booster dose, can donate blood 48 hours after the inoculation.
