Health Startups Welcome the Presence of COVID-19 Vaccine in RI

Halodoc CEO and Co-Founder Jonathan Sudharta said the government’s efforts to procure a COVID-19 vaccine gave new hope in the pandemic handling process. His party welcomes the presence of the COVID-19 vaccine in Indonesia.

“Halodoc of course always supports the efforts of various parties. This is also in line with our commitment to work hand in hand in making Indonesia back to health so that the economy and community activities can return to normal,” he said in a written statement, Saturday (28/11/2020)

Jonathan revealed that in line with the government’s efforts to mitigate the acceleration of handling COVID-19, Halodoc, which is a digital platform in the health sector, also provides the most complete access to the appointment of a COVID-19 test in Indonesia.

“And we will continue to strive to simplify access to health services in the future so that they can be a healthy life partner for the Indonesian people,” he continued.

In line with Jonathan, the Managing Director of Good Doctor Danu Wicaksana also positively welcomed the plan to procure vaccines in the country, in fact his party is also ready to help if needed.

“We welcome the government’s efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, including plans to deliver a safe COVID-19 vaccine in Indonesia. We hope this can increase hopes for health protection for all people so that they can return to their activities more optimally,” he said. .

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of ITAGI Prof. DR. dr. Sri Rezeki S Hadinegoro, SpA (K) assessed that the Indonesian people accepted the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination well. This is motivated by the great desire to end the COVID-19 pandemic.

This picture was obtained from the results of a survey conducted by the Ministry of Health together with the Indonesian Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (ITAGI) supported by UNICEF and WHO regarding the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine. The result was that two-thirds of the respondents stated that they were willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The survey was conducted in 34 provinces with 115,000 respondents.
