The Ministry of Health made it clear that vaccination is one to five years for Egyptians and non-Egyptians, and that vaccination is carried out through fixed medical teams (in health offices, units, medical centers, main squares, next to mosques, churches, clubs and markets), as well as mobile teams (from house to house and apartment to apartment) from teams formed and under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Population).
The Ministry of Health and Population added that the polio vaccination campaign is part of the intent to increase social immunity in children and to keep Egypt free from disease, noting that the medical teams participating in the campaign are trained at the highest levels.
