Police in Melbourne (southeast Australia) on Wednesday arrested the suspected thief of a Versace bracelet. The man had stolen the jewel by catching it using a fishing rod.
The 43-year-old suspect was arrested at home in an operation described as “catch of the day” by the police. The flight dates back to February. The ingenious thug was filmed by surveillance cameras.
We see him, in front of a jewelry store, strive for three hours to grab the coveted bracelet, worth 700 Australian dollars (400 euros), using two fishing rods, after having made a hole in showcase.
