In Colombes, in the Paris region, a man who wanted to burn a police car on New Years Eve had a hell of a backlash. He will probably think twice before trying again.
It is not only in Liege or Brussels that New Year’s Eve has been tense. Indeed, in Paris, several incidents broke out and the police had to intervene quickly so that the situation did not deteriorate.
In addition, a somewhat comical scene was filmed by surveillance cameras around 6 a.m. on January 1 in Colombes. In the images, we see a man approaching a police car and then emptying the contents of a bottle onto the vehicle in question.
The man set the car on fire, but as he tried to flee, his clothes caught fire.
Currently, the young man is still wanted by the police and it is not known whether he is seriously injured or not.
