Habib Bahar is officially a suspect and detained by the West Java Regional Police, Ichwan Tuankotta responds this way

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – West Police investigators named Habib Bahar bin Smith as a suspect for hate speech, Monday (3/1) night. Not only was he a suspect, Habib Bahar bin Smith was also immediately detained according to his examination.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, said that the determination of Habib Bahar as a suspect after the police found sufficient evidence.

“Earlier after the examination, sufficient evidence was obtained. So, his status was upgraded and he became a suspect. Now he has been detained at the West Java Police,” said Ibrahim Tompo when contacted by JPNN.com, Monday (3/1) night.

“The inspection started at around one o’clock until nine o’clock,” said Ibrahim Tompo.

So how did Habib Bahar’s fort respond?

Ichwan Tuankotta, Habib Bahar’s attorney, said he would soon provide an official statement regarding the determination of his client as a suspect and detention.
