The award for the best project of the year in the 15th year of the Křišťálová lupa poll was won by the activity of Czech technology companies and IT enthusiasts focused on helping to fight the coronavirus pandemic Covid19cz.cz. The personality of the year is the businessman and investor Michal Bláha, who, among other things, founded the State Guard portal. Just like last year, the DVTV Internet TV Award went to the popularity award.
Zásilkovna won first place in the internet trading category for the first time. The award for tools and services goes to Mapy.cz. Youtuber Karel Kovář alias KOVY won first place in the One (wo) man show category. The best online video was produced by the Ostrava actors of the Peace Theater performing under the title Three Tigers. In the new Podcast of the Year category, the audio program U Kulatého stole scored. The first place in the category of hobby sites was a show about games for everyone INDIAN. For the first time, the News List became the king of news and journalism.
The biggest marketing inspiration for the past year was Rohlik.cz’s reaction to the covid-19 epidemic. The best content inspiration came from the film In the Network and e-commerce inspiration is the entry of the Pilulka.cz store on the stock exchange. The rhythmic play Beat Saber won in the category of global projects of Czech creators; according to the expert jury, the public benefit service of the year is Memory of the Nation. The anti-prize was earned by the government’s failure to introduce Smart Quarantine.
The Křišťálová lupa – Czech Internet Award poll is a regular vote of the public and an expert jury, in which the most popular and interesting projects, services and personalities of the Czech online scene are selected and awarded.
