Gulliver’s first regular flight from Sofia to Skopje welcomed

At Skopje International Airport this morning at 5 hours and 8 minutes with rainbow-shaped water jets, the company TAV Macedonia welcomed the first flight from Sofia of the Bulgarian airline Gulliver, Sloboden Pechat and BTA reported.

With an ATR 72-600 aircraft capable of carrying 70 passengers, the airline made its first scheduled flight to Skopje International Airport, marking the start of its official commercial operations in the Macedonian market.

This morning, the Minister of Transport and Communications in the Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Blagoy Bochvarski, welcomed the passengers who arrived on the first trade flight on the Sofia-Skopje route, stemming from an agreement between the two countries’ joint government commissions.

“I am glad that we reached an agreement very quickly and together with the Republic of Bulgaria we established this line. Work is moving in the desired direction and we already see the results of the work of mixed groups with colleagues from Bulgaria. The flight Sofia – Skopje starts operating today We have already arrived in Skopje. I welcome them to our country and send a message that our country has something to offer in the field of tourism. We remain committed to our friends and in the next period to find solutions to strengthen friendly relations and bring economic benefits to both countries, “Minister Bocvarski said at Skopje airport.
