Group of subjects kicks and punches a defenseless man

With punches, kicks in the face and all over the body, and stab wounds… this is how the victim was attacked by more than a dozen antisocials who did not stop until their aggressiveness was satisfied.

In a matter of seconds they beat him, they threw a metal garbage can at him while he was on the floor and not content with that, they stabbed him three times in the back and shoulder, leaving him to his fate and badly injured.

“Inadmissible, I feel that there is a feeling of insecurity and that action must be taken because it is not ideal,” said Cherly Medina, a tourist.

According to the police report, the attack occurred on Saturday at 3:15 in the morning.

The 35-year-old victim was in front of the building at 700 Eighth Avenue in the heart of Manhattan where, according to authorities, the man had an argument with three individuals, after which, and according to the surveillance video images provided by the police, they all attacked him at once and at least ten more joined.

The group of assailants then fled down 44th Street in the direction of Seventh Avenue.

The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital and his condition is known to be stable.

“Especially in this corner, many people come to me looking for a lawsuit, what I do is turn around, I avoid them, it is better to avoid than to fight, it is not known who is armed, a knife or a pistol,” said José Gómez, area worker.
