“Grey’s Anatomy”: More dead risen

The Angels – “Grey’s Anatomy” comes and goes. At the moment, however, even the “dead” are returning to the famous “Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital”.

After the so-called “love relay” it is now apparently the “relay of the returnees”. In current episodes there was already a sensational reunion with Patrick Dempsey (54) as “Derek Shepherd”.

Flashback: The 19th season of “Grey’s Anatomy” started in the USA at the end of November – and there was a real surprise guest in the luggage: Patrick Dempsey – so “McDreamy”! He was once “big in love” with Meredith Gray (Ellen Pompeo, 51).

Dempsey “stopped by” in a dream. That was astonishing because his character was long out of Sloan Memorial Hospital. Derek was accidentally killed in season 11 and returns to Meredith’s fantasy world. TR Knight (48, as George O’Malley) and Chyler Leigh (38, Dr. Lexie Gray) are also part of the party.

Now the next one is coming back! Eric Dane (48) also slipped into his star role as “McSteamy” Mark Sloan.

It's the longest hospital series ever: Meredith Grays (Ellen Pompeo, 51) has been doing it since 2005 (!) And 19 seasons!

Derek, George, Lexie and Mark have one thing in common: the characters are all dead! They all died a series of dramatic deaths in the hospital drama.

And how is their return handled (the episode aired April 1st in the US)? Everything is happening again in Meredith Gray’s head … because Gray is between life and death because of her severe corona illness. In an artificial coma, your soul plays a kind of “return trick”. Tied to tubes, in the hospital bed she relives “old times” …

The hospital series “Grey’s Anatomy” has been causing enthusiasm for 19 seasons. In a recent interview, actress Ellen Pompeo commented on the future of the show. “Grey’s Anatomy” is the longest running medical drama on American television, after all!

She said that she couldn’t give an exact ending: “We honestly haven’t made up our minds yet. We’re really trying to figure it out at the moment.”

And she explained that the entire team was in the middle of deciding when to create the last episode of the series. That is not easy, says the American. Because the team wants to get it right and give the characters and the entire story a worthy conclusion.

By the way, after Grey’s “Traumsequenzen” there will be another reunion soon! Sarah Drew (40) takes on her role as Dr. April Kepner up … Well then, raise the dead.
