Great! Biker Cink finished third in the final race of the World Championships and the third is overall

Christopher Blevins won the race in West Virginia, the second was Romanian Vlad Dascal. In the end, Zinc overtook the Swiss legend Nin Schurter, who was slowed down by a defect in the front wheel.

Mathias Flückiger, another Swiss, who finished 16th today after a defect, secured the overall championship in Friday’s short track. Technical problems also slowed down Koretzky, who overtook Cink in the standings by winning the short track. The Frenchman also fell outside the top ten in cross country, but thanks to a great chase, he finished eighth, which was enough for him to defend his second position.

Cink did not win two top races this year – the Olympics and the World Championships – but he had a great season in the World Cup. He was twice second and once third in cross country, with a total of five podium finishes in his elite series in his career.

Cinka once again eliminated the unlucky technician from the medal game, Schurter has the ninth gold from the World Cup

The women’s race as well as Friday’s short track was won by the British Evie Richards. Forty-three-year-old Kateřina Nash returned to the World Championships after three years and took 16th place, which is the best result for Czech women this year. For the winner of the cup race from Canada in 2013, it was probably also a finale, as her team Clif ends in the series after two decades. The overall winner this year is Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte.
