Grandmother forced to cut down her tree house
The house had been built in a large tree, but it was certainly not a shack. Over the years, in fact, Sahwnee Chaser (72 years old) had built a real tree house: a tiki hut that included a homemade swimming pool with waterfall, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a characteristic outdoor courtyard.
For years no one gave her any problems, then some rather intrusive neighbors denounced the building which had become increasingly larger over the years. Once the police discovered the immense structure, the agents gave two options to theelderly. He could have dismantled it, or brought it up to standard. And, after 8 years of struggle, Mrs. Chaser decided to give up.
“On September 18th I will begin the demolition of my house, but for me living in a normal house made of walls and concrete is impossible: I am claustrophobic,” explained the woman. And I really don’t understand this fury towards me… please help me at least pay my debts, then I will try to find accommodation suited to my needs”, he wrote on the platform dedicated to charity campaigns. At the moment, his appeal has brought in more than 1,200 euros, but the goal is much higher: 50 thousand euros to be able to pay the bills and try to find a first makeshift accommodation, when his palace on the tree will not be more accessible.
