The artist was born in Campeche on April 6, 1958. Her mother and aunt, two of her greatest supporters, taught her to sew when she was little.
She dedicated herself to costume design and made clothes for carnivals and fairs, and started working in a clothing store in Mexico City when she was only 17 years old. Acted as drag queen and danced in shows stars at the Blanquita Theater, where she was discovered. Her national recognition came with her participation in the famous Mexican film “Bellas de Noche”.
After the success of his first film, Francis got his own program, “The Francis Show”, which made popular in Mexico and the United States.
