Acted as drag queen and danced in shows stars at the Blanquita Theater, where she was discovered. Her national recognition came with her participation in the famous Mexican film “Bellas de Noche”.

After the success of his first film, Francis got his own program, “The Francis Show”, which made popular in Mexico and the United States. She loved being the center of attention, and her performances included ballads in beautiful dresses she designed, dazzling Las Vegas showgirl-style dance numbers, and hilarious celebrity impersonations. The show ran from 1980 to 1998 and was one of the most popular.

The Carnival of Campeche, the city where she is originally from, named Francis “Queen of Queens” in 2005, and her mother maintained a museum in her honor in which she displayed her elaborate costumes for years. .
