Hannover – With a gigantic parade, these bikers mobilize against new noise rules!
Around 4,000 motorcyclists rushed from Hildesheim to Hanover in succession on Sunday, stopping at the town hall and at the Maschsee.
Reason for the rattling mass exit: The Federal Council wants to limit the noise level of new motorcycles to 80 decibels and enable municipalities to ban driving on Sundays and public holidays.
Steffen Rabuschenko (initiative “Demo against driving bans Hildesheim”): “Motorcyclists will be taken into a blanket clan sentence!” The ADAC is also against it. Imposing collective sentences on a few black sheep is not appropriate. Bikers would also look for alternative routes.
