Ghisca Debora Aritonang Coldplay Ticket Fraud Case: Trisakti University, Twitter Discussion, and Police Report

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – No Ghisca Debora Aritonang There was a lot of discussion on Twitter because of a post that said he cheated by selling Coldplay concert tickets with losses to victims of up to IDR 15 billion.

Apparently, Ghisca is a student at Trisakti University. Head of Public Relations at Trisakti University, Dewi Priandini, said that Gischa will be registered as a student in 2022.

“We checked at PPDikti, then I also checked the Trisakti information system, indeed Ghisca is a Trisakti student in 2022 at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Management,” said Dewi when confirmed, Saturday (18/11/2023).

After investigating, it turned out that Ghisca was no longer actively attending lectures. He often skipped classes and didn’t even take the semester credit system (SKS) according to the provisions.

“Even before this case occurred, we at the university tried (to find out) whether it was true (cheating), because it was suspected,” said Dewi.

“So we have tried to contact them, they are no longer active, they never went to (college),” he added.

According to his lecturer, Gischa is also known as a lying student. What Gischa conveyed to her parents was different from the reality on campus.

Dewi said that Gischa’s parents were furious by saying that the university did not take care of the courses their child was taking.

“According to the story from friends who are lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, Gischa’s parents also came at the beginning of the semester. They were angry because Gischa lied to her parents,” explained Dewi.

In fact, he continued, it was Gischa who rarely attended lectures until now.

“Gischa is beautiful, but likes to lie to the point of being lazy. That’s what the lecturer said,” said Dewi.

The university has tried to contact Gischa to confirm the fraud case. However, Gischa could not be contacted.

“We tried to find out too but it turned out lost contact. “We only asked for data from the university, but it turned out it was not active,” he said.

The owner of the Twitter account @__aqshal shared his tweet regarding the alleged fraud committed by Ghisca against his sister and other victims.

Life is getting tired again, I got news that I had been cheated on Coldplay tickets myself. Turns out the lady who’s behind it has successfully scammed about Rp. 15,000,000,000,000 (it turns out this woman managed to scam around Rp. 15 billion). You’re the champion, Ghisca Debora Aritonang,” was quoted as saying in @__aqshal’s tweet Kompas.comSaturday.

Several netizens also commented on the tweet because they experienced the same thing.

Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Chandra Mata Rohansyah, confirmed that Ghisca had been reported.

“The reported person is correct (Ghisca Debora Aritonang). For the police report we handled, the reported loss was IDR 1.3 billion,” said Chandra via short message.

Even so, he has not explained in detail the case that ensnared the student.

“It will be released on Monday, I will complete all the reports,” he said.
