It must be clearly stated that sanctions do not stop tanks when they cross the border, but sanctions may prevent them from crossing the border if it is clear that the cost is too high.”
Garry Kasparov also explained how the West could have prevented war in Ukraine: “We crossed the border and confiscated all the money at once, so that no one would wait, without warning. Everything should have been closed, all ambassadors and diplomats expelled. Many things could have been done.”.
The famous chess player is confident that the United States is responsible for a number of military conflicts that are flaring up in the world and the reason for this is their policy of non-intervention, which demonstrates weakness: “Now we see terrible losses, hundreds of thousands of dead, millions of refugees, Ukraine is destroyed. And there is also a war in Israel, which was also provoked by Putin, Venezuela, which is on the verge of explosion. There is also China, which “licks its lips” when looking at Taiwan. This is the result of weakness, and the price is rising every day. We see that the Americans in the Middle East are starting to do something, but they are not doing anything yet“.
Earlier, Kasparov called a way to end the war in Ukraine “in two weeks without any problems.”
Meanwhile, Kasparov predicted dangerous events for Ukraine that will occur after Putin leaves.
