“Gamer in Jakarta Raided by Police After Screaming in Excitement During Game”

Too excited while playing the game, this gamer was raided by the police. The reason, he screamed and caused an uproar in the neighborhood around his house.

This incident was told by a Reddit user, UnleashedMythic, who did experience it firsthand. He explained that the shout was a form of expression when his team finally won the game.

“In my first game, our team had a very bad start with a few mistakes. This made me emotional and I started screaming at the top of my lungs, given the high intensity of the situation. We ended up winning the game,” Mythic said, reported detikINET from Dexerto, Friday (28/4/2023).

But unfortunately this expression is misinterpreted by local residents. Someone thought the loud noise was a domestic dispute.

“Suddenly I heard a knock on my door. I looked outside and saw that the local police were looking around the house. I went outside and three officers started questioning me about what had happened and whether there had been a domestic dispute or something much more somber.” said Mythic.

Embarrassed, Mythic explained to them that nothing bad had happened, whether it was a domestic dispute or something. Even so, the police are still checking his house just in case.

This gamer finally apologized to the police. Mythic felt guilty, for making the police have to do something small like this.

Little information, that Mythic at that time was playing a game made by him Riot Games. A multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game titled League of Legends (LOL), this does require skill and hand speed when pressing the skill button.

Now, because of the intense nature of the game like MOBA games in general, a number of LOL players usually get carried away. This makes them emotional, and screaming is one of the most common forms of expression.
