Russian security officials believe that the mass murder of the suspect was allegedly “motivated” by a Telegram user living in Ukraine Yaroslav Ovsyuk.

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Tatarstan opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 30 (preparation for a crime and attempted crime) and part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). A teenager under the second article could face life in prison.
