Marco already braided his mother’s hair as a child. He was inspired by his uncle Angelo from Italy: “I knew from the age of three that I wanted to be a hairdresser.”
Marco runs his own salon in the Black Forest

His specialty is balayage. Color is deliberately applied unevenly to the hair for a more natural look.
He doesn’t know exactly why he’s allowed to go to New York from September 6th to 11th. Weißer: “I think it’s all about sympathy and connections.”
