Wael Gomaa, defender of the Egyptian team and the former Al-Ahly Club, stressed that the justifications for talking about canceling the current season of the Egyptian league because of the Corona virus are illogical.
Jumah said in statements on BN Sports, that he sees if a team other than Al-Ahly is the leader in the Egyptian League, as things differ greatly.
The former Egypt defender said: “Al-Ahly has 41 titles in the Egyptian league, the current season will not be much difference in its history, or with its closest competitors.”
He concluded: “I think if another club was the leader of the Egyptian league, the opinions would have been different, the justifications of those who manage the Egyptian football to cancel the league are illogical.”
